I have been cooking and baking for years, and I'm a pretty good cook, if I do say so myself. The problem is that although I am always getting all kinds of creative up in my kitchen, and concocting dishes that would make you beg for more, I rarely write down what I'm doing and this means I hardly ever make the same exact dish twice. This was never a problem until a few days ago, when my husband insisted that I start a blog to share recipes for all of the great gluten-free foods I have prepared.
I am sitting here looking through photos I have taken of fantabulous (yes, it IS a word) things that have come from my kitchen, and reaching into the deepest corners of my brain to recall what exactly it was that I put into that particular dish on that particular day. Try as I might, I can only recall a few recipes exactly. This makes blogging a recipe rather difficult, so I am on a caffeine fueled mission to get busy in the kitchen and write down a recipe to go with each picture of mouth watering goodness.
Hang in there, good things are coming :)
I share recipes, helpful info, links to other pages, and stories about my son's Celiac journey. You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter(@Gf_FloursInMyHair) and Instagram.

Why Didn't I Write That Down???
I have always gotten great pleasure,( actually, some sort of freakish high) from feeding the people I love.
I feel that preparing a good meal for someone is one of the most wonderful things you could do to let them know that you care.
After my youngest son was diagnosed with Celiac, I had to learn a whole new way to provide him with foods that not only didn't harm him, but that he enjoyed eating,(not an easy task with a 9 year old) as most of the packaged products just weren't up to snuff with what mom had always made for him.
Through many trials and errors, I have managed to keep his tummy full and happy.
I hope that I can offer advice and a little laughter to others, while I share my stories, along with recipes and tips that I have learned.
